Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great thanksgiving with family and loved ones, or by yourself if that’s the case. Mine was great, and I’m still stuffed.

• I’m thankful for all my awesome friends and family. I appreciate every one of you very much.
• I’m thankful for my awesome wife and step-daughter. I would be lost without them.
• I’m thankful for a good job in a poor economy. I’m truly lucky.
• I’m thankful for decent health.
• I’m thankful for my cat. Smokey is awesome.
• I’m thankful for Barack Obama.
• I’m thankful for a 12 and 0 season! Go Utes!
• I’m thankful for a lot more… but I need to go put up the Christmas tree.

Saturday my place of employment held its annual Turkey Bowl event.  You get a bunch of people who sit in front of computers all day, put a football in their hands, and say go.  It’s kind of funny.  A couple of fights as usual, a tooth through a lip, a few pulled muscles, and Monday we all go back to work limping and popping advil or tylenol all day.

My team this year was actually pretty decent, compared to past years.  We actually won a game, which is kind of funny as our team name was “If You Don’t Beat Us You Must Really Suck”.  I feel bad for the team we beat…

I’m happy to say that my knee and titanium leg held up just great, although I did bruse my thigh really bad.  The next day I could hardly walk, but today I’m starting to feel better.

It did make me realize that I really really need to start doing some cardio.  I had a blast playing, and I used to do that kind of thing a few times a week… so it kinda sucks that now I’m worthless for a few days after.  I need get off my lazy, sittin in front of a computer all day, beer drinkin, fried food eatin, butt and get back in shape.

I’m gonna try.

Hola,

This past weekend was great.  RSL won their first playoff game ever, the Utes remained undefeated, and we gave away most of our candy to neighborhood kids for the first time ever.

Seriously, I was kind of surprised.  In the past two homes I’ve lived in I had a total of like 10 trick or treaters in 4 years.  But in our new neighborhood it was almost nonstop from 6pm to 9pm.  Yay for lots of kids eating lots of candy!  Yay!

We went to a great halloween party last weekend too.  It was a Rock Star theme… and I couldn’t think of anything… so I went as the greatest rock star of them all.  See pictures below.

Katelynn performed in a Halloween themed ice skating show too. She is getting pretty good! There are some pics below!

Tomorrow is election day for those of us here in the US.  I beg of you to do your duty as a citizen of this great nation and vote!  I’m not going to ask you to vote for my candidate of choice but I will ask you to vote.  I’m sick of people complaining to me about the government and then telling me they don’t vote.

I’m taking the day off from work so I can watch the results all day real time, and I’m also going to give some of my time to Obama’s campaign.
