Isn’t it sad that we need a holiday to remind us of the things we are thankful for? But I guess its good at the same time cause without it most of us would never put much thought to the things that we truly are thankful for.

2007 has been a crazy year full of a wide variety of events in my life. Top of the list would obviously be my wedding and honeymoon, and bottom of the list might just be my broken leg… Anyway, I wanted to share my list of what I am thankful for this year. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

• I’m thankful for my beautiful wife and her wonderful daughter. Without them I would be a sad lonely shell of a man. With them there is hope for me yet…
• I’m thankful for my awesome family. I have the most incredible parents you could ask for. I know lots of people say that, but its true. I’ve also got a great brother and sister and nieces and nephews and brothers in laws and my mother and father in law are pretty cool too. And then there are all my cousins and uncles and aunts and my grandma… Oh, and I’ve also got the coolest cat in the world. I’m a lucky guy.
• I’m thankful for my health. It has been a rough year with my ACL surgery and then my broken leg. But overall I am a healthy and happy person.
• I’m thankful for my friends. You all rock.
• I’m thankful that GW only has 425 days left in office! YES!
• I’m thankful for all the soldiers: US, UK, AU, etc. who are fighting for the freedoms we enjoy, and so many different reasons. Some of those reasons I agree with and some I don’t, but I still support and honor those forced into fighting.
• I’m thankful for my job. For reals. They’ve been good to me.
• I’m thankful that people are finally starting to take global warming seriously. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you people! There is still a long road ahead…
• There are so many things I am thankful for, this is just a short list. If I think of any more important ones I’ll update here.
